Bass fishing is fair. The fish go deep after daybreak and it’s time to go to the summer pattern on the on the deeper points down lake and main lake points in 8 to 14 feet of water. Deep running crank baits in shad patterns with a 1/2 and 3/4 Mini Me ounce double willow leaf spinner baits in chartreuse and white, drop shot rigs and Weedless Wonder lead heads are producing baits. Flipping docks up the river is fair. Use the blue jigs and weight less Texas rigged small Senko green pumpkin worm or rig it wacky style, June bug is always a great color for soft plastics. If you can fish after dark try ¾ ounce single Colorado bladed spinner Strike King night bite bait in all black with a pork matching trailer.
