Fishing Friends,


Once again, we had a boat on the Lake each day this past week and both boats were on the Lake several days. With the exception of a slow start on Monday when Adam and I and our Customers did more fishing than catching, we had another GREAT WEEK. On Tuesday thru Saturday, we had limits or a full ice chest of quality size White Bass! 🙂 The Top Water bite was extraordinary on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday as we had 75 and 100 fish limits of White Bass caught on the 309 Flats on Mepps Spinners. Acres of White Bass chasing Shad to the surface and what can only be described as FUN to the 10th degree!


The Summer Pattern is starting to set in as we usually experience some early morning top water action on the Main Lake and then move up the Creeks to Points and Humps in 15'-20' feet of water to catch the Whites on Slabs and Jigs. Some days you may never see the top water action and on others, it may last several hours. If you get a nice breeze and some cloud cover, you're often in for a treat!
