Fishbuster Charters Captain Dave Hanson reported, "Stephen and Jennifer Schuh fished offshore on Tuesday morning, 6/29, 19 miles west of New Pass. They used squid and shrimp to catch and release fifteen yellowtail shorts, one 18-inch Spanish mackerel, four red grouper shorts, and a small triggerfish. They boxed a dozen grunts and six porgies.

Trent Pinkerton and son, Logan, fished a catch-and-release trip in southern Estero bay’s backwaters Wednesday morning, 6/30. They used live shrimp to catch thirteen sheepshead to 16 inches, twenty-four mangrove snapper to 11 inches, and one 24-inch ladyfish.

Jennifer Kelly, her fiancé, Rich, and Rich’s grandmother, Jane, fished Estero Bay’s backwaters on Friday morning, 7/2. They used live shrimp to catch fifteen mangrove snapper, including four keepers, all 11 to 12 inches. They released fourteen sheepshead shorts and two pufferfish."
