The B.A.S.S. Elite came to Guntersville with high expectations only to find that the bright sun buried the fish in the grass and made it extremely hard to put the catches together they expected. My week was not any different with bites being at a premium; miss a bite and your next chance could be a long time coming. Our week had mixed results some good and some not so good.


Baits: we stuck with search baits most of the week, Picasso spinner baits, Picasso chatter baits, SPRO square bills, Tight-Line swim jigs and some slow presentation with Missile Bait D-Bombs. We stuck mainly with working 6 to 12 ft. of water with cover.
