StriperFun Guide Service is happy to announce that beginning May 1st, 2023, we will be offering Striper fishing charters below the Lake Cumberland Wolf Creek dam all the way down to the Tennessee border (where we already for many years have provided Striper charters from the TN border down to Carthage TN)!
We have had such a high demand for this region of the Cumberland River in Kentucky and as such, we will open in the Spring of 2023! This type of fishing is both “planer boarding” live Shad and casting Captain Jim Striper Magic lures for these big Cumberland River Stripers! You will love this exciting type of fishing!

Captain Jim Fishing Charters
Specializing in “Trophy” fishing as the owner of Captain Jim Fishing, Captain Jim Durham is a Kentucky native and KY & TN State licensed guide who has fished the upper Cumberland Plateau for over 50 years. With 16 charter guides to serve our customers on sixteen (16) waterways, Captain Jim’s fishing charter companies run nearly 1,000 fishing charters a year in KY and TN. Jim is also a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Captain and Search and Rescue Patrol Coxswain with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and a volunteer fireman. Captain Jim is also the creator of the Striper Fish like a Pro instructional DVD series.
