Spring 2023 is here, temperatures rising both air and water, fishing becomes more lively with surface activity, the spring shrimp run, more baitfish appearing, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Bluefish, Ladyfish and more are bending rods, pulling drag. Starting trips earlier as summergets closer is the normal for more first thing in the morning fishcatching. Free line fishing live shrimp and throwing small lures mynormal for this time of year, fishing for what ever fun fish want topull on our lines. Spring is beautiful weather here, usually drypretty days with a nice breeze, not yet as hot as will be once summercomes. Jim here visiting from Washington State had a fun trip,catching a bunch of different species, topped off with this nice Black Drum …………..
