CLARKS HILL IS FULL, 75 DEGREES & CLEAR
Bass fishing is good. Early morning and late evening are the best using top water baits. Later in the day try Carolina and Texas rigs with worms and lizards and crank baits like Fat Free Shad, Bill Norman, and Bomber Series on the deepwater points and drops. Use deep running crank baits or pig and jigs from 20 to 30 feet deep. Husky Jerk Baits are still the hottest lure on this lake right now. Bass are hitting top water baits and spinner baits. Schools of bass are showing up in the larger creeks and shad can be seen breaking the surface all during the day. A good top water bait will be a 3 1/2" Pearl Colored Thunder Dog. Throw this bait on schools of rising Shad. Ask for a free sample of the BASS FISHING LAKE CLARKS HILL book. Send a sample request to ken@southernfishing.com
