CLARKS HILL IS DOWN 1.1 FEET, 73 DEGREES & CLEAR
Bass fishing is good. Any cold front might slow the bass down a bit but this should improve the fishing by the beginning of the week. Husky Jerk Baits and Ito Vision 110 jerk baits are working. A few bass are hitting top water baits and spinner baits. Larger schools of bass are showing up in the larger creeks and shad can be seen breaking the surface all during the day. A good top water bait will be a 3 1/2" Pearl Colored Thunder Dog. Throw this bait on schools of shad you may see on the surface. The secret on catching bass is to make very long casts and fish the loner points on and jus off the main lake. Ask for a free sample of the BASS FISHING LAKE CLARKS HILL book.
