Bass fishing is fair and the typical fall pattern with the bass will be on one day and off the next. Stay in any of the main rivers or creeks and work all the cover like docks, timber and brush piles that you can find. Bass are Texas rigged worms to lizards as well as the pig n jig. A lot of the bites are going to be small spots with an occasional largemouth thrown in so fish several of these baits to see which one produces the best catch. This lake has a lots of docks with brush so work them well. Use the #5 suspending Shad Rap and a top water bait like the Pop R or Chug Bug. These bass will move in and out on these areas all day long looking for any bait fish or crawfish that might be present. Fish these areas whenever you come up on them with cranks and top water baits. Also use a Zoom green pumpkin lizard or worm on the sides of the points especially whenever rocks are present. Another favorite bait to throw is the Zoom twin tail grub on a ¼ ounce jig head in a dark green or dark brown color.
