  • Richland Chambers Fishing Report

I wish that Adam and I had more to report this week, but the mid week Cold Front with temperatures in the 30's, and then the strong South Winds on Saturday limited our time on the Lake. We did manage to get a Veteran's Day Trip in on Monday. Adam's Group (See Enclosed Picture) got into some Hybrid Striper action early and then joined my Group to put some White Bass in the Ice Chest. We actually had three days of fishing planned for almost 30 Veterans/Active Duty personnel, but had to cancel the Tuesday and Thursday trips due to the Cold Front. We've got a rescheduled date in December on the calendar and if the Weather permits, we'll get the remainder of the Veteran's on the water. Most of our fish were caught on Silver Shad Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) in 20' plus water off Pelican Island area on Monday. I did manage to get in a Thursday Afternoon trip with a Dad and two Sons from the Buffalo area this week. What a nice Afternoon with mild temperatures and light winds, but the fish just didn't want to cooperate. We ended with thirteen fish, a fun Afternoon and a pledge to try it again during the Christmas Break Holidays! As I'm writing this Report on Saturday morning, the South Wind is already blowing at over 15 MPH and forecast to gust to 30 MPH by late Morning. Just too windy to fish on big ole' Richland Chambers!

Our November calendar is pretty full at this time but we do have a few Weekdays open, and once we get to December we have a couple of Saturdays still open and LOTS of Weekdays to go catch some fish! We're beginning to start our trips a little later in the Morning and fish right through the midday timeframe. Seems that often the warm up you have during the late Morning and early Afternoon gets the fish more aggressive. It certainly feels good on the Lake as the Sun warms the cooler Morning temps!

If you would like to get out and enjoy some time on the Lake during the next few weeks, give us a call @ 903-389-4117 or check us out on the web @ www.gonefishin.biz .

THANKS and have a Great Day!
