LAKE ALLATOONA IS DOWN 11.9 FEET, CLEAR & 61 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair and the first weak cold front brought us tons of wind and that was a good thing. We are not sure how this next major front will effect the fishing initially, but should be great after everything stabilizes. The crank bait and spinner bait bite has been the ticket in this wind. Some better fish showing up with the average tournament taking between 9 to 11 pounds to win. Continue to throw Scrounger rigged with the 4inch big bite jerk shad in pearl. The jerk bait bite is good and getting better. The old tried and true shaky head finesse worm and a Spot Sticker crawler head with a big bite 3 inch Yo mama in tilapia fished on bluff walls at the mouth of little river is a safe bet. Also, remember avid Allatoona angler Brian Cox's family in you prays. Brian was in a tragic traffic accident and killed Tuesday night. He will be missed. A benefit tournament in his honor will be announced soon.

Line side bite is good. The bite has really picked up this week and the line sides are finally starting to feed. There is a good bite from the Boys club all the way north to Sweat Water. Hybrid and white bite are busting top water. Use a popping cork along with a white Fluke follow by a Roster Tail. Also fish from Kellogg's Creek to Clear Creek. Most of the fish are hybrids and are being caught right over the river channel. Live bait is working best shad, thread fin, shiners and trout. Look for these fish in the bends of the river channel. The sea gulls are starting to show up and will be a big up later into December. December is a challenge month for finding the right techniques. Trolling has been hit and miss and we are pulling the Mack Farr 4 arm umbrella. Learn how to use the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology along with the Navionics chip.
