What a great week of Family, Food, Fun, and a little Fishing to cap it off!!! My Bride of almost 40 years and I had all the Kids and Grandkids at our home on Christmas Day and once again realized how blessed we are with Family, Friends, Health and just to be where we are at this stage of our Lives. Here's hoping that 2014 will continue along the same lines!

The weather turned absolutely GREAT the couple of days after Christmas and I had the privilege of fishing with one of my "best customers". Pictured is 11 year old Grandson Joshua who joined me at the Lake on Friday and put 13 really nice Catfish and a White Bass in the Ice Chest for a Fish Fry! On Saturday, Rod Smith and his Family fished with me and we had the same luck with a nice box of fish capped off by a really BIG ONE ( Guesstimated to be a 15 lb. plus Blue) that is now headed to the dinner table!



We continue to Catfish on our Guide Trips as the White Bass action is just not happening. Guess the cold weather that lowered the water temps into the 40's has them hiding somewhere as none of our Guide Friends or us have located them. Oh well, as long as the Catfish are biting, we'll keep fishing! We have openings everyday this coming week except for Thursday and Saturday. if you'd like to get Friends or Family on the water, we can accommodate you.
