LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 55 DEGREES, STAINED UP RIVER, MAIN LAKE CLEAR
Bass fishing is good. The bite continues to be strong on Lake Sinclair. This is evident by looking at weights from recent tournaments. There are multiple patterns and techniques working right now across the entire lake. There has been a consistent shallow bite in both the Little River and Oconee River arms fishing 6 feet or less. Most of the fish can be found on main river banks and short pockets off the main channel. Spro Little John crank baits chartreuse in color fished slowly around docks and sea walls have been best. Sea walls with rocks at the base are best. If the sun is out and the fish seem inactive, plastics around the docks and brush piles will produce. Fish a Buckeye Spot Remover with a Zoom green pumpkin trick worm under the docks for the most bites. There has also been a consistent deep bite near the mouth of the major creeks from the mid lake down to the dam. You can find these schools of fish with your Lowrance side imaging and down imaging electronics. Once you find these fish, you can catch them by dropping a spoon or a drop shot vertically through the school. Most of these fish will be 22’ 30’ deep.
