LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN ONE FOOT, STAINED & 50 DEGREES
Bass fishing is slow with the cold blasts of winter and more cold weather is on the way. Try jerk baits and especially suspending models to get these sluggish fish to bite. Rattlin’ Rouges in almost any color can work 10 feet deep on and around the creek bends. A jig and eel can still produce a few fish up the rivers in the cuts when it warms later in the day. Zoom Bush Hogs on a pegged Texas rig may work on the grass beds but be sure to use a heavy weight to get though the grass. If there is a warm up next week, get the weights off the baits and look in the sandy areas for small bass to start roaming around.
