LAKE HARTWELL IS AT FULL POOL. THE MAIN LAKE IS CLEAR AND 43.5 DEGREES, THE BACKS OF CREEKS ARE SLIGHTLY TO HARD STAINED AND 40.8 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair. We have been focusing in the mouths of the creeks and the timber lines on and around main lake features such as points and humps. We have been catching the timber fish on a weedless 1/2 oz Fish Head Spin in pearl white and albino colors trailed with a matching super fluke jr. We have also enjoyed success fishing a jig in the tree tops. Keep a drop shot or a Capt. Mack spoon handy to drop vertically on fish you see on your graph. Some fish are also being caught on the Fish Head Swarm and jerk baits off of deep main lake points. Come fish with Rick on Lake Hartwell and learn his top secret approaches and strategies that will be used by the pros in next year's Bass Master Classic. The Classic is coming to Hartwell in February 2015! Contact Jimbo on Lanier at 770 542 7764 to book a trip with Rick. The book BASS FISHING LAKE HARTWELL is available. We have opened this lake up to avid bass anglers with over 100 key bass fishing holes. ken@southernfishing.com for a sample. See our web site for Rods Reels and Lures for Bass DVD on sale.
