LAKE ALLATOONA IS DOWN 12.01 FEET, MUDDY & 48 DEGREES

Bass fishing is still a very tough bite but should see great improvement with the warmer weather. The other factor is the rain, pre spawn and stained water means the crank bait bite should turn on soon. My report is speculative due to the poor bite. This weekend should be better but start off with lipless cranks like the fire tiger Spr Aruku shad and mix it up with a Wiggle Wart in craw colors or a Shad Rap. Fish will be shallow to feed but it will be short lived if we get the return of cooler weather.
