CLARKS HILL IS FULL, 51 DEGREES & STAINED
Bass fishing is fair and a weekend warm up will get these fish active as the full moon passes. Bass are being caught in the back of creeks. The Stanley 3/8 ounce all brown jig has been the bait so far. Watch for some bass to be move into the shallow water following the bait. Some good bass in water as deep as 30 feet these past few weeks on jigging spoons and the new Zoom Z Drop shot worms. The key is finding bait and a little clearer water. There is not a large number of bass in the back of the creeks, so start off early in the morning on the main lake points, then move to the secondary points as the sun comes up. Expect the afternoon bite to be the best. Use small #5 Shad Raps and DT 6 Rapala DT 6 crank baits also in shad. Fish the back side of the main lake points and in the mouth of the larger creeks and coves. Ask for a free sample of the BASS FISHING LAKE CLARKS HILL book.
