LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 57 DEGREES, MUDDY UP RIVER, MAIN LAKE STAINED

Bass fishing is great. We are finally getting some warm weather causing the fish to move up and stage. These fish are moving up on primary points and just inside the short pockets off the main lake. Concentrate your efforts in water 6 feet or less. Reaction baits such as crank baits and spinner baits seem to be producing best. One crank bait that is catching them consistently right now is the Spro Little John ½ ounce in chartreuse or fire tiger. Start fishing the points and work your way into the first half of the pockets. Many of these fish will be dirt shallow on the seawalls or sand flats sunning in the warming water. When you catch a fish on the crank bait slow down and pick the area apart as you will get more bites in the same area. A big fish producer this week has been a 3/8ounce black and blue Buckeye Mop Jig. Flip this jig under the first few docks on the shallow flat side of the pockets. Another big fish producer right now is a ½ ounce chartreuse and white Buckeye spinner bait. Slow roll this spinner bait around docks and lay down trees near primary points for an opportunity at a fish of a lifetime. The deep bite is starting to disappear as these fish are moving shallow. The fishing is about to be incredible. Give us a call to book your guide trip so you don’t miss out on the fun.
