March and Spring Time is here, it's time to plan that Fishing Trip and the fish are biting!!!

If you remember Paul Harvey and how he used to tell the "Rest of the Story", well here's our version!

March may be here, but Winter is hanging on as evidenced by the continual Cold Fronts and occasional freezing temperatures. Lots of our Customers have planned their Spring Fishing Trip as we're about 90% booked for Spring Break and almost ALL the Saturdays till June. And the White Bass and Hybrids have yet to show up, but we're still filling the ice chest with Catfish!

We were only able to fish four trips last week and had good results on all of them. The strong Winds kept us off the Lake several days but on other days we had as nice a February day as you could ever want! We started the week on Monday with a threesome from Clifton and had "The Best" trip I've had in several months. Non-stop action on Channel and Blue Cats, a fifty fish box of keepers, and a fifteen year old young lady named Emily who showed her Uncle Ronnie how to catch fish! We ended the week on Saturday with a young man named JB taking up where Emily left off, and out fishing his Dad and Friend at least two to one. (See Enclosed Picture). We continue to catch our Catfish on Punch Bait in the timbered areas of the Richland Creek arm in 20' of water.



As mentioned, our March calendar is filling up. Here's what we have available in the March 8th-22nd Spring Break period. We have one boat open on Saturday, March 8th and one boat open on Monday, March 17th. We have LOTS of Weekdays open starting March 24th and continuing through April, but our Saturdays are almost all taken till mid June. We'd encourage you to contact us now if you want a Spring Fishing Trip.
