JACKSON LAKE IS DOWN 1.1 FEET, STAINED & MID SIXTIES
Bass fishing is good. Use baits that have a lot of vibration like a spinnerbait or one that emits a lot of noise like a Rattlin' Rap. Both baits will work on Jackson and have a good track record for many years during the spring. Rapala crawdad and red crawdad crank baits are working best up the rivers. Bass are headed to the bedding areas. A local favorite in the spring is up the Yellow River. This river has produced quality bass for many years. Fish all the little nooks and creek that feed out to the main river. Wood and rock are always a good combination during the spawn.
