Last week's Fishing Report headline was that "Richland Chambers was Heating Up"! Well, it's officially "ON FIRE" now as the fishing has turned into catching on TONS of White Bass, a few Hybrid Stripers and as the picture shows, we even put a few Crappie in the box this week!!! After the Cold Front moved through on Monday and Tuesday, we were able to fish the remainder of the week. Limits of White Bass was the norm on almost every trip as the Whites are being caught in any location you choose...309 Flats, Pelican Island, South Shoreline out from the Lighthouse, and any place else you may want to fish. We caught all our fish on RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) in either the 1oz. Minnow or Shad. It's so EASY now and will be as we end April and move into May. Fish have yet to spawn and are aggressively eating!



The picture of Ed and Mike was from an afternoon trip on Thursday. We had our 50 fish limit of White Bass in ONE HOUR, and then were able to put 13 super large Crappie in the boat in the next couple of hours. A similar story came from Thursday morning's trip when Lynita from Madisonville and her friend had their 50 White Bass in about two hours and then we went looking for a Hybrid Striper. Lynita landed her biggest Hybrid ever...about a 7 lb. beauty!
