Lake Cumberland Fishing Report

Fishing on the eastern end of Lake Cumberland has been pretty darn good on most days, pending some of the abnormal fronts and weather we normally have every spring which can cause a little slower action. We have been limiting most every day fishing the upper halves of the major creeks on anywhere from a 15-45 ft bottom. There hasn't really been a steady pattern to the fish yet with the water levels almost to full pool and the spawn going on as well. I've been using planer boards and downrods trying to fish from the surface to around 15-20 ft deep most days. Surface temps up here are around 62-64 degrees depending on where you are in the creeks. Lots of fish are starting to scatter out towards the main lake as well really keying on deep points for their early morning feeding period and then roaming the deeper water throughout the day and a little harder to key in on. Light weights ran close to the boards are definitely taking most of my fish. Feel free to call anytime for a more up to date report, good luck and good fishing!
