What a GREAT WEEK on RC as Adam and I were able to get all our trips in, the Spring weather was absolutely wonderful, the fish were jumping in the boat and IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!! Of the ten trips we conducted, all but one was with regular customers who have become good friends over the past fourteen years we've been in the Guide Service. We are blessed to fish on a wonderful lake and have friends who continue to fish with us each and every year!



We focused on the White Bass every trip and had either a full ice chest of fish or our limits (25 fish per person) on every trip. It's that time of the year that you can catch fish just about anywhere on the lake. Some days the fish were along the South Shoreline from Fisherman's Point to Ferguson Point, and other days we found the large concentrations from Pelican Island to the Hwy 287 Bridge. We're using 1 oz. RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) in either the Shad or Minnow shape to catch our fish. Just find the bait and fish and drop the slab to the bottom and it's FISH ON! Focus on the Main Lake Points, Ridges and Drop Offs in in 15'-25' water, watch for the Gulls, Terns and Baitfish, and you're in business!

April and May are arguably the two best months of the year to catch White Bass on Richland Chambers. It's easy as the fish are either Spawning on the Main Lake Points or feeding aggressively after they have Spawned. Give us a call @ 903-389-4117 if you'd like to get in on the action.
