We had another very good week on Richland Chambers as we got most of our trips in! We did have to cancel a couple due to the STRONG North Winds that blew 30 MPH on Tuesday and Wednesday. The other days were absolutely GREAT as we enjoyed the wonderful Spring weather and full boxes of White Bass every trip, a few Hybrid Stripers and on one trip a nice catch of Crappie! The White Bass are going absolutely crazy as the biggest problem we're incurring is catching our limit (25 per person) too quickly on many days! What a great problem to have!

Check out the 309 Flats early for some fun top water action on both White Bass and Hybrid Stripers. They will be in the shallow water right off some of the sandbars. A Sassy Shad, Rat-L-Trap or small Crankbait may land you the fish of a lifetime! If it's Crappie you're after, there's still some late spawning fish in the shallow coves and against the creek banks. Small minnows or jigs below a cork is a tried and proven method to catch these great tasting fish.

Our May calendar is full with the exception of one day. Wednesday, May 28th is open at this time. We do have lots of Weekdays open in June. IT'S NONE TOO EARLY TO RESERVE THE JUNE OR JULY DATE YOU WANT! Kids will be out of school, it's vacation time and the fishing will be good! Our Saturdays are booked until July and we'd encourage you to reserve your July or August Saturday now as they will be gone quickly.
