The water temp is in upper 70's and clear. The summer fishing patterns are getting real close now. The bass fishing is starting to get good at night. The normal techniques are producing fish using rubber worms and jigs fished close to the bottom on points and around cover. The crappie fishing has been fair do to the amount of cover in the water which has scattered them out. But this will make for more crappie in the next couple of years. All fish on the lake should benefit from the added cover an nutrients in the water at the is time. The striper fishing has been good also. We are pulling alewife herrings on planer boards and down lines from 10 ft to 45 ft. We have been pulling open water on the main lake. Small schools are starting to show up with big schools soon to follow.
Good luck and take a kid fishing.
