River has held pretty steady for the last month...just knee deep over the gravel bars early in the morning about daylight and by mid afternoon gravel bars are out and exposed. You can get crocus or below the 61 bridge it's been wadable later in the afternoons.

Some good fly fishing coming up right now.

Been a lot of good rainbows and browns. Good solid health fish, most of em in the slot 15-18". Had one 8 1/2lb brown caught on a crawfish colored shad wrap.

Blade baits have been working good...blue fox spinners, rooster tails, inline spinners, balls of fire salmon egg and berkely power bait in the orange and chartruese have been working...mostly in the orange.

Trout are really really healthy. I believe they're better than they were 10 years ago before all the work on the ****. Water is holding between 50-55 degrees. Good dark clean color. Don't get much better for trout fishin right now. In the past two weeks, we've had 5 stripers over 40lbs that I know of ... one 49lb 14ounce and 4 more over 40lbs in the past couple of weeks.

It's just the river...I don't believe it's gonna get any better than what it is. I just hope it keeps gettin even better! In the mornings, knee deep over the bars, in the afternoons most days wadable.

Don't get much better! I know I'm saying that too much but that's just how it is. C'mon down and see us!
