Adam and I had a very enjoyable week on Richland Chambers as the fishing continued to be fair to good everyday and even VERY GOOD on a couple of days! New Customers and Repeat Customers ( and now Friends) kept us on the Lake for ten (10) trips this week! As often happens in the Summer, we are having to make a long boat ride up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake to find the White Bass. We're not sure why it happens but the Main Lake locations that have held fish all Spring are now absent of fish, so most days we're making a 20 mile plus round trip to get our box of White Bass. On Adam's Wednesday's trip with the Breards from DFW, they limited out early on White Bass, and then tried the Hybrid Stripers. As you can see from the picture, they were successful! It's odd that the Hybrid Striper bite is often very good in the hottest two months of the year!!! All our fish continue to come on RSR Silver or Chartruse Slabs (www.rsrlures.com). The Summer Top Water bite just hasn't fully kicked in gear yet, but it's early in the Summer!
Our calendar is completely full for July, but we have LOTS OF WEEKDAY OPENINGS IN AUGUST, and even a couple of August Saturdays with a boat open. Also, our Labor Day Weekend still remains open at this time. Summer goes by fast and if you want to get the Kids or Grandkids on the Lake, just give us a call and We'll Go Fishin'!
