LAKE RUSSELL IS FULL, CLEAR & MID 80’S

Bass fishing is fair. Spinner baits are accounting for some fish but it is a must to have the Carolina rigs all day. Fish along the rip rap with a Shad Rap in baby bass and crawfish patterns. Use the #7 in the shad color as long as the water clarity is two feet or more. Fish the rock ledges in the shade as bass all summer long. Use a small bait like a 3/16 to 1/4 ounce jig or a four inch finesse worm on a spot sticker rig. A three inch tube bait rigged Texas style will also catch those summer bass. Use the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology while searching the flats and humps.
