I had a trip yesterday evening from 6-10 pm with a couple of gentlemen wanting to try some night fishing. We started out with using 10" worms just before dark on some deep structure areas and was able to get a few good quality bites along with losing a couple of real good fish. Sometimes it can be hard to drive a hook into a good fish with a 10" worm out of deep water, but at least they got it to work a couple of times. When it got dark we moved out to some deeper grass lines and started slow rolling 3/4 oz. Choo Choo Lures spinnerbaits and after "0" success in the first couple of areas we finally found an area that had some good solid fish that were just "hammering" our spinnerbaits. These guys got to experience some great night fishing and also just how hard these fish can hit a spinnerbait at night, they were just wishing they could find a way to play "hooky" from work the next day and fish all night! Have fun, Mike Carter
