Lake Guntersville is starting to heat up with the cooling water temps and grass growth the fall is shaping up to be nothing but exceptional.
The bass are starting to school up and feed at certain times of the day so timing is still a key, and to have several places with fish so you can rotate them out. This weekend FLW had their super tournament and I jumped in it and we will just say it was a very trying day with plenty of action but not the hook ups that I needed. My clients came to the weigh in to watch so I offered to take them out for the rest of the day to do some catching and that is just what they did with in the 1st hour we had 5 in the boat with loosing 2 and managed to boat 5 more before dark and lost 3 more we had a blast. We did it again on Sunday for a few hours with success again but the hook up to landing ratio was way off they just seemed to not eat the bait totally but we did land 6 bass. Had a night trip earlier in the week and it was just a great time wish we would of landed everything that hit our lures with a lot of short strikes we still caught some big uns.. Have limited number of days open for this Fall Fishing give me a call so i can put you on some Lake Guntersville Toads!.
