The water temp is dropping into the 70's and most fish are active. The bass have been very active on the surface the first couple of hours after daylight. They are being caught on topwater baits and also spinnerbaits close to points. The stripers are still on the main lake and active. I am fishing alewife herring either 40 feet deep or 70 ft deep close to the bottom on flats. The flats close the main channel has been the most productive. Crappie fishing has remained good under the lights at night also with a few walleye also showing up. Good luck and get out and enjoy some great fall fishing.
