Lake Guntersville Fishing Report.
Been on the water all week, following the bass as they get grouped up into small packs the shad are getting shallower the deepest ball of bait I can find now is 12 feet its better the 30 feet. In the mornings we are catching decent keepers fishing grass edges with a 4x4 Swim Jig in Tharps BlueGill with a Little Spanky in Watermelon Rind color and a SPRO Fat John in Nasty Shad. When the sun gets up and you don't see to much chasing along the grass its time to break out Kermit aSPRO Bronzeye 65 the colors that are working best are Rainforrest Black, Putty, and white. and there is a small little trick to catching them and as much as I want to share that with you it just wouldn't be fair to my customers so book a trip and learn the trick.
.Something new I want to share with you guys. I have launched a new part of the guide service its to target SmallMouth Bass on Pickwick Lake, Wilson Lake, and Lake Erie (1st 2 weeks of August) the Pickwick and Wilson trips will be with live bait and Erie will be a regular trip just on big water, for more info please visit www.smallmouthbassguides.fishing
