WEST POINT LAKE IS DOWN 5.8 FEET, CLEAR & LOW 60’S
Bass fishing is fair. The largemouth and the spots are moving into the pockets as the water cools down. They are chasing shad and feeding up for winter. Look for them in the backs of the creeks at 5 to 15 feet of water up in the main lake coves and use shad imitation lures. The large mouth and spots are starting to bunch up on medium to deep road beds in 15 to 20 feet of water. Carolina rigged worms in green, black, and blue and Hopkins spoons are the best baits and fishing slow is the best method.
