LAKE GEORGE IS DOWN .8 FEET, MID 60’S
Bass fishing is fair. The cold weather kept anglers in the woods but the bass are still biting. Fish the main lake ledges running 8 to 10 feet deep. Use the Fat Free Shads and the Rapala DT14 in shad patterns. The shallow bite up Cowikee Creek has been fair as well the remaining grass in the middle fork is still producing. Mid day finds the brush pile bite a bite better, taking a Texas rig and shaking it around will get you bit, but smaller worms seem to working better. Crank baits and Rat L Traps are going to come in handy this week.
