    BASS
Fish slow moving baits. The best luck I have had over the past two weekshave come off of big slow moving baits. Big Strike King Series 6 crank baitsthrown at a steep rocky bank cranked back slow will pick up a few big bass inshallow water. Big spinner baits and jigs will also pick up a few big bass. Iam using live minnows if the current is strong below the dam, when doing thiswith split shots you will need plenty of current to make the drift worksuccessfully.

    Stripers
Stripers and Hybrid are showing up here and there while saugar fishing, other than that I would not spend a lot of time looking for them because thisis not a good time of year to catch a lot in a short period of time. But if youtry, I would suggest spending the time around the dam with big Stike KingSeries 6XD crank baits. Also fish the Strike King Series 3 crank baits aroundDiamond Island.

    Catfish
I caught a few catfish in 20' of water and also in 50', so it is hard togive a perfect depth. I noticed it mattered more what area you were in than thedepth. Zig zagging in different depths in the right area produced a good numberof fish.

    Sauger
I found a few quality sauger today in deeper water, most were as deep as50'. Jigs tipped with minnows will produce fish as good or better than anyother method but some still prefer plastic baits because of the advantage ofnot having to deal with live bait.
