I had an afternoon trip today that resulted in covering a lot of areas to check out lake conditions and the growth of new grass in some of the shallower creeks. The water temps on the main lake averaged around 54-56 degrees, but in the backs of the creeks we found water that ranged from 64-67 degrees. We caught fish in the shallow creeks in 2-4 ft. of water on Choo Choo Lures Shakers and Swim Jigs with a lot of sign of new grass growth, and also out on some of the deeper Eel Grass areas in 8-10 ft. of water on 1 oz. Rat-L-Traps. There are a lot of patterns producing some good fish right now, especially with the front thats approaching. Get out and have fun, Mike Carter
