LAKE RUSSELL IS FULL, CLEAR & LOW 60’S
Bass fishing is good. Use a wide variety of spinnerbaits for about the first couple of hours then switch to crank baits and lipless cranks for the rest of the day. The water has cleared up a lot since and the bass are going to respond as well. Work the secondary points and any pockets off the primary points first. Stay out of the very back of the long feeder creeks and look for stumps and brush along the bank in water less than 5 feet. Work the water from top to bottom staying with shad and crawfish colors. Added scent will aid if you plan to throw jigs or plastics. The Jacks Juice scent will usually make the bass hold on to the jig or plastic bait just a little longer.
