The lake has settled down from all the rains and fresh water and the Catfish are back on their aggressive early Spring bite. While we're still waiting for that first White Bass to appear, it won't be long! Last year it was the week of April 1st when the White Bass and Hybrid Striper action turned on, and the conditions are similar now with warming water, stabilized water level and Spring in the air!

In the meantime, we had limits of Catfish on three trips this past week and full boxes on all of our trips! We're still catching our fish in the timber on the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake in 20' of water. Danny King's Punch Bait on a #4 treble hook is the key to a Fish Fry!
