The "Big-G" was on today, especially in the shallow areas. This was one of those days that all of the elements came together and just "clicked" at the right times in the right areas. We had strong winds, warm weather, and an approaching storm front, just the right ingredients for some aggressive fishing. We caught a lot of fish, quality fish, in each area we fished. We stayed with the Choo Choo Lures Swimjigs all day because of all of the areas we fished had Primrose grass and Lily Pad stems, and with the wind blowing as hard as it was, it was the easiest pattern to keep from fouling and hanging up the baits. The fish were very aggressive and we had a lot of fish, and some more "Big Uns", just boil all over the bait and miss, but it was still fun to see that. Get out and have fun, Mike Carter.
