Blue Water Report

The blue water bite has picked up, but still unpredictable! It is little hot one day and cold the next. However, blue water fishermen caught everything from Mahi Mahi to Wahoo to tuna this past week!

And here’s what Stanley Devegter has to say about the inshore fishing now!
I grabbed some live shrimp and mud minnows this morning and went looking for trout today and man, did I find them. I caught about 20. I kept nine while fishing behind a hammock near Wassaw sound, which got me out of that strong south wind. I only fished one drop. Great time I had by myself. Traditional trout floats were used and a Carolina rig with 1/4 ounce slip sinker. I catch bigger trout by myself, no noise.
