Well after a physically demanding Turkey season I finally got back to what I love most,"catching some big Guntersville Lake Bass". I got out with a friend for an afternoon of just fun and relaxing fishing, and it was just that, fun and relaxing. We fished big swimbaits on some deep grass lines in 8-10 ft. of water and had a blast having these fish just absolutely "slam" these baits. "Dang", I forgot what it was like to get fish to hit this hard. It's obvious that most of the fish are done with their spawn and have moved back out to the deeper areas because they are hungry and aggressive. The ledge bite will be wide open soon and so will night fishing, so hang on and get ready to enjoy some wide open Bass fishing, day or night. Get out and have fun, Mike Carter
