  • Lake Bono - Arkansas

With the recent spring rains, Lake Bono in Northeast Arkansas has been filling up fast. The lake has risen well over 4.5 feet this spring. The water depth at the control structure measured 8.5 feet on March 9. The deepest hole in the lake measured 17 feet deep, so when the lake is at full pool the deepest spots in the lake should be about 21 feet. The lake received 8,000 yearling channel catfish in February and has already been stocked with bluegill fingerlings. Largemouth bass fingerling stockings should take place later this spring.
