River is finally down on the ramp...probably down a fourth of a way down on the ramp in Burkesville. Looks like it's falling right now and I'd guess it'll fall for a while since they've cut way back on generation.

River is good and dark green...clear. Perfect for fishin! Probably about 4-5' deep over the gravel bars but the ramp in town is clear and you can put in good navigation right now.

The white bass have been up in Marribone Creek ... catching a little bit of everywhere. Still catching big females with eggs. I'm guessing the water being so high and dirty the last month or so that this may trigger the white bass to run up the river now. So I guess time will tell and we'll find out! They are still catching good numbers of white bass in the creeks but I would guess they should move up the river now. Fishing for them should be real good for the next 2-3 weeks coming down from South heading toward the ****. Maybe this will trigger them to spawn.

Just hadn't been many people trout fishing on the river due to muddy trashy water coming down but it's in good clear green right now and they're not giving any rain for a week to week and a half. Sunshine and lake is down about where they can do a normal generation on it now instead of pulling it hard.

Things are looking good for the river right now. In fact, I'm sitting here at a boat ramp in Burkesville lookin at the river as I'm talking to ya. It looks good, I seen a couple fish breaking water. Looks like it's gonna break loose finally. It's been a loooong winter!

I'll call if I hear of any good big fish being caught, I'll let y'all know!
