WEST POINT LAKE IS FULL, CLEAR & UPPER 70’S

Bass fishing is fair. There are still some fish biting down lake on main lake points and shoal markers. Stick with the Lucky Craft 3.5 Fat CB in the crawfish color and the Booyah 3/8 blue herring HD spinnerbait for covering lots of water like last week. When the fish are biting, slow down and throw a Silver shad 5" Yum Dinger and my ¼ ounce Evolution Jig in the color PB&J. Most of my fish are coming from grass or wood near deep water. The deeper pockets seem to work better than the long shallow ones. Look for some good ones in Rainbow Creek, Stroud Creek and all the cuts and pockets with deeper points on them.
