The conditions are steadily improving on Dale Hollow. The smallmouth have moved out in good numbers as has the largemouth plus we've started to catch some trophy white bass.
Walleye fishing has slowed by nite but should pick up toward the full moon in early June. The day time bite is still fair.
Muskie fishing is as good as it will get until mid June when they head deeper and spread out becoming more difficult to come in contact with.
The crappie are still shallow but the night time bite should turn on any day now.
Bluegill and Shellcracker fishing is stil slow but will turn on in the first week in June with the full moon. We were two degrees to cold to take advantage of the May full moon.
The channel cat bite remains strong and the blues and Flatheads have moved in shallow and are easily caught on limb lines.
Lets remember that it's weekend out there so except the unexpected. Watch out for your self because no one else will be paying attention.
Willow Grove marina will be open for gas, food and bait until 9pm all summer and 10 on Saturdays. Come and see me at what's easily the best marina on the lake by a long shot.
Happy Memorial Day everyone and be careful out there.
