The water temp is getting close to 80 on the surface and summer fishing patterns are starting.
Stripers on from mid creek to the main lake and starting to school. Later in the summer the big schools of fish will come down the lake and fishing goes from good to great on the lower end of the lake. Right now we are still pulling planers from the surface to 35 ft on the main lake. The abundance of threadfin shad spawning has kept the no weight planer really good the first couple of hours after daylight. Bottom fishing has also been producing good numbers of assorted fish. Crappie fishing has been a little slower on the lower end due to clear water but should get better when they go a little deeper. Bass fishing has been good around cover up the creeks with great numbers of largemouth all spring. God
Bless and take a kid fishing!!
