Today on the "Big-G" was like the last few trips that I've had through last week. There has been some very good numbers and some good quality along with the numbers. Today was a sad day in "G-ville" for one gentleman, because of the 3 times the man had a good fish on, and one of these fish was an exceptionaly "good" fish, ended up breaking his line right at the boat. I just wish that he could've used one of my rods with heavier line but mine were right handed and his were left handed, and like I said when you break one off it's a sad day, but when you break 3 off it's an extreme sad day! We still ended up catching some nice fish around some shallow grass early, and then moved out to some deeper areas to really have a blast with some ledge fishing. The fish today came mainly on 3/4 oz. swimbaits and 6XD's, and the fish in the shallow grass areas were on swimbaits and spooks. Get out and have fun, Mike Carter
