LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 88 DEGREES, STAINED UP RIVER, MAIN LAKE CLEAR

Bass fishing is good for numbers but the larger fish are a little Bass harder to find. The top water bite, while still productive, didn't produce any large fish this week. A black 1/4 ounce Ole Nellie buzz bait or Smithwick Devil's Horse fished around seawalls, grass beds and any wood cover will catch fish. A 3/8 ounce black Arkie jig with a green pumpkin Fat Albert Twin Tail grub fished under main lake docks in three to six feet of water is catching a few quality fish. For those who like to fish deep structure, a few fish are being caught on main lake points, ledges and humps in ten to twenty feet of water. A Carolina rig with a Zoom watermelon seed trick worm will get more bites, but a Heddon Fat Free shad in citrus or a 1/2 ounce green pumpkin football jig with a twin tail Fat Albert grub will catch the quality fish.
