I had a trip on Lake Weiss today with a gentleman wanting to learn a few things about some of the deep ledges and points that this lake holds. The water temp averaged from 84-86 degrees and all of the fish that we got were in these deeper areas on Choo Choo Lures jigs. We did start out with fishing a few shallow grass areas but had no success and that can be typical this time of year because of the hotter weather. The deeper bite on this lake can be a lot of fun, especially when you can get some big "Spots" turned on. Get out and have fun. Mike Carter
