This past week we were on the Lake for six days and had fair to very good results every outing. Two of the trips were with Kiddos and we put the Danny Kings Punch Bait in the boat and loaded the ice chest with Eater Size Blues and Channels. We had to catch a lot of little fish to get to the keeper fish but that was OK with the crew as six to twelve year old Boys don't care what they're catching as long as they're catching! The Catfish can be found on many of the long sloping points in 20' water on RC with the Pelican Island and Windsock Point areas holding the most fish.

On all our other trips we were fishing for White Bass. Each day was a little different with a couple of days just downright hard to find fish and when we did, the fish were not on an aggressive bite. The other couple of days we had some brief Top Water action and the fish were much more willing to bite. We are still catching most of our fish on Slabs off Main Lake Points in 20'-25' water. Soon...the Top Water activity will kick in gear and the Summer Fun begins!
